COUNT OF MENTAUBERT

Count of Mentaubert in a few words

The wines of the Comte de Mentaubert family are composed of three types of “still” Bordeaux wines: dry red and white of the regional appellation Bordeaux , and a wine semi-dry white of the appellation “First Côtes de Bordeaux”.

Bordeaux red wine is blended with 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Merlot. It is aged in stainless steel vats and therefore freshest of the month with aromas of fresh fruit. Like many Bordeaux this wine has good length.

Dry white wine is made from grape varieties Sauvignon and Sémillon . Bright and golden yellow in color, the wine is slightly woody, pleasantly fresh with aromas of white-fleshed fruits .

The Premières Côtes de Bordeaux semi-dry white wine is more complex, softer and perfect as an aperitif.
